“That is full, this is full. From that fullness, came fullness. If fullness is taken away from fullness, only fullness remains”.
Such a great fullness takes place within the feminine temple. To know the human body can bloom into such fullness, and then release such a complete masterpiece without the original reservoir becoming any less. Both parts, mama and baby, equally important. Equally nourished. Catering to this dynamic is such an honor. A one of a kind experience that deserves full attention. With Divine Birth Doula Services, I will provide you with evidence based resources from a holistic perspective. Meeting your family exactly where you are to bring comfort to your concerns that pertain to the meeting and greeting of your new bundle of joy. I understand that families come in all shapes and sizes. I strive to preserve that fluidity with respect and understanding. A womb waits its entire life to perform. I have an inevitable trust in this process, offering space for this unfolding experience to manifest connection and bliss. ~
I have been in the medical field for almost 20 years in many different capacities with special emphasis in women’s healthcare. I have carried the role as a medical assistant to a perioperative tech in the operating room. I am an advocate for justice and compassion of all beings. My personal philosophy on human interaction is to always meet the person wherever they are in life, and connect the pieces from there. I am currently a DONA certified birth doula, certified Traditional Healthcare Worker through Oregon Health Authority, and actively pursuing my ICEA childbirth educator certification. As well as formerly serving as a staff doula for Providence nurse-midwifery pregnancy package. I believe that childbirth is such an emotional ebb and flow moment in time. It is the delicate exchange of giving and receiving life. My mission is to make sure that every birthing family I support through this transitions feels respected and informed in any decision that may approach. I’m also a graduate of The Bhaktishop where I received my 200 hour teacher training certification, along with prenatal yoga. I love to share this tool that connects breath to soul through movement to create expansion within the body. This facilitates abundant flexibility and strength, especially to the pregnant body and beyond. I believe in holistic healthcare and listening to ones’ intuition. I have taken countless workshops on reproductive justice, biochemical effects of oxytocin, aromatherapy for birth, breast feeding basics, and Ayurveda and pregnancy.
My tribe consists of my amazingly loving partner and three beautiful blooming daughters. I value my role as a mother. My children have molded me into the women I am today. I am a born and raised Oregonian. When I’m not diving into birth work, my hobbies consist of all things yoga, reading, poetry, and anything that brings me closer to the earth.
In being consistent with my desired or certifying organization, I adhere to DONA and ICEA protocols that pertain to my scope of practice. Please feel free to read through those at your leisure.
